Bought in 2008 with Laure and Xavier, we naturally modified the definition of its name*. We gave it a new identity, synonym of warmth, generosity and taste.Today, the Bouchon Bordelais is an always evolving institution.Inspired by everyday life and its encounters we rack our brains to renew our wine list, to buy true products and to make it a combination of colored tastes and good athmosphere.
My name is Frederic Vigouroux, I have been living in Bordeaux for 30 years. My family is from the Garonne valley and since my childhood my family has passed on to me the passion to eat well. After learning local produces and getting to know those who would eat them, working form bistros to brasseries, I wanted to express myself and share my enthousiasm for cooking freely. It is in this old street of bordeaux that I stopped to feed my faithful,interested and wise customers. Everyday, thanks to a great team, I stick to my believes : hospitality,suggestion and an authentic and creative cuisine.

I create the menu with my friend and my second in the kitchen Etienne.This menu is short which is logical since working fresh produces everyday takes a lot of time !We propose this menu only for dinner.
Except some of our star-courses, every dish is renewed constantly.

On the cellar's side, I work on the selection with Marin, my service manager, food lover & wine amateur. Regular meetings with vineyard owners give us the opportunity to build a distinctive wine list in accordance with each course served. The prices range from 17 to 90EUR per bottle
